September - May Lecture Series
Upcoming events can viewed on the website, event board outside the History Center, the monthly newsletter, on Facebook, and a schedule can be picked up at the Center. The History Center holds monthly lectures from September through May. OCCHS hosts the summer Craft Fair every Saturday in connection with the Old Colorado City's Farmers Market in Bancroft Park.
Join us on our summer walking tours and learn the exciting history that made Colorado City so unique. Lead by our incredibly knowledgeable volunteers.
Private walking tours of Old Colorado City and Fairview Cemetery for groups of ten or more are available.

The Fairview Cemetery Crawl is held every Fall at the Colorado Springs Fairview Cemetery. Learn the history of Old Colorado City from the citizens of yesteryear as they rise from their graves to tell you their story.
The Old Colorado City Territory Days are held every year towards the end of May. Historic interpreters dressed in period-style clothing give tours of the old Garvin Cabin in Bancroft Park. Experience a touch of the old west with historic demonstrations, food vendors, shops, and games for the whole family!
