The Old Colorado City Historical Society was founded to recognize the historical significance and unique culture of the original Colorado City, early El Paso County, and the greater Westside neighborhood. This spirit is perpetuated by the preservation of artifacts and archival materials, encouragement of historical research, childhood education, and community engagement

The History Center not only provides a place to view artifacts of Old Colorado City's past, but also contains a historical reference library, book store, collections & archives, and space to host events.
